Affiliate is defined as eligible for a SBEA membership under these conditions:
a. A contracted employee of the Boeing Company; A person who works full time for Boeing or Spirit under a contract. This person will wear the regular Boeing badge that has the grey border, their photo, and a bar code on the back; pays annual membership fee in quarterly payments. They have all benefits of membership including recreational use of the lake. They cannot do payroll deductions.
b. A SBEA member who has been laid off work; may continue membership for four year following layoff; pays annual membership fee in quarterly payments. They have all benefits of membership including recreational use of the lake. They cannot do payroll deductions.
c. A SBEA member who is off work because of a medical disability; dues must be paid for until they go back to work or are terminated from the company. It is the member’s responsibility to cancel. They cannot do payroll deductions.
