Annual SBEA Sporting Clay Shoot

Cost for members is $20 per shooter if registered by October 3, $25 per shooter thereafter and for nonmembers. (Includes 50 targets, lunch and a ticket for some great prizes to be given away). This course is zoned for shotgun shot size 7.5 or 8; any other size is prohibited. Sign up forms for the shoot on sale now.
Shooters will be given a ticket when they register for a drawing of prizes at the conclusion of the shoot. We will be raffling off 1 or 2 guns that day, so keep an eye out on SBEA’s web page @ www.beatoday.com with more details on this. Please pre-register and pay at any SBEA store so we know how many shooters to expect! It also allows us to purchase the right amount of food. SBEA members may bowl for free at Seneca Bowling Alley with their current 2019/2020 SBEA membership card (includes shoe rental). You must show your card at the table set up inside the door to get in free. This event is for you and your immediate family only. Limit one game unless there is no one waiting to play.

Easter is just around the corner which means it’s time for the SBEA Annual Easter Celebration. Join us at SBEA Recreation Area, April 3, 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. This year will be different than the past years due to Covid-19. We have structured the event in order to maintain the guidelines and still make it safe for the kids. We will only allow so many through the lines at a time to keep the required social distancing so we ask that you please be patient with us so we can bring this great event back this year. All events will be placed so you can go from beginning to end. Masks still required. All current covid-19 guidelines will be in place to protect everyone!

Lunker Catfish Tournament
May 22- 23
Only those entered in tournament will be allowed to fish. This is a fund raiser for SBEA.
Your chance to catch the “BIG” one and take 1st place has just gotten better. Grab your fishing poles and don’t worry about bait, our lake store can accommodate all your needs for this tournament. Once the fish for this tournament have been stocked in the lake there will be no fishing until the tournament starts at 8 a.m. on May 22. Only those that have paid to enter the tournament will be allowed to fish until the tournament is over. This is a 24 hour tournament; registration starts at 7 a.m. on May 22 and the tournament starts at 8 a.m. May 23. Weigh in time is at 8 a.m. sharp; however you may weigh in anytime during the tournament if you do not want to stay the entire time. You may pre-register at the lake store and pay your $25 entry fee or pay any time to enter the fishing tournament The lake will be stocked with “BIG” channel cat for this tournament. There will be 3 cash prizes for the three largest creel of 4 catfish; 1st place, ($250), 2nd place ($150) and 3rd place ($100) and then $100 if you want to enter the contest for largest catfish caught for an additional $5.00 entry fee. All rules of the lake must be followed with no gold fish allowed for bait and 2 poles per fisherman. No buddy system will be allowed, you must catch your own fish and they must be kept on your own stringer or in your own basket and kept in the water. Vehicles will be subject to inspection. Contestants will be supplied with an armband and rods used in the tournament will be tagged. Tournament ends promptly at 8 a.m. on May 23. If you do not present your fish by that time you will be disqualified, so be sure to be on time. For your convenience the bait shop will be open until 10:00 p.m. on May 22. The lake will be closed for fishing to everyone who is not a contestant in the tournament. Camping will be allowed for those in the tournament on May 22.

4Th Of July Celebration
Come Celebrate With Us
Join us on July 4th, 6:00 pm – 10:00 p.m. for 4 hours of fun and activities for the whole family to enjoy. What a great way to celebrate the 4th at SBEA with fishing, bingo, ice cream social, fireworks & more. There will be tagged fish that are worth cash. Tagged fish will only be honored during the fishing contest hours: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Then sit back and enjoy the fireworks. You are encouraged to bring a picnic basket, blanket, coolers, and lawn chairs. While you are welcome to bring food and drinks, we will have concessions available for purchase.
With the changing of all current covid-19 guidelines, we will keep you updated and have the proper guidelines in place for the 4th. Masks are not required, but event organizers are asking that groups social distance from each other to help maintain a healthy happy 4th and summer.
The lake will close after the fireworks on July 4th and be closed on July 5th.

Whether you’re looking for fall harvest decor or prepping for winter, SBEA has the decor you’ll need to add a little magic to your home. Join us July 24 from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. & July 25 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at SBEA Recreation Area, inside the enclosed pavilion for our Christmas in July sale. With our stores being closed for a year this is your chance to cash in on some great stuff and reduced prices. We want to move out some stuff so we can bring in some new stuff. Items that will be in the sale are toys, jewelry, garden décor, kitchenware, houseware, Christmas items and more. Debit cards will be accepted, checks (members only) and cash accepted. You will be able to do payroll deducts, you just have to follow the current payroll deduction policy.

Tickets will be sold in advance in all SBEA stores and will only be good for SBEA Rock River Rapids July 31, 2021. Pay $4.50 for adult and $4.00 for seniors & youth (3-17), children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult age 16 or older to enter facility. Tickets on sale in all SBEA stores, Rock River Rapids is open 12:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Tickets good for July 31, 2021 only. Regular prices are $9.00 for adult and $8.00 for youth. What a savings!!!!

Alright kiddos 8 years old and younger, this is your chance to show the grown-ups just how fishing is done! Grab your fishing poles, bait, sunglasses, hats, chairs and have fun fishing in the kids pond. The rules are only kid’s 8 years of age and younger may be in this contest. They must be the only one fishing, but may receive guidance if needed. They must use a kid’s rod & reel pole that features a princess, prince, superhero or cartoon character to qualify. The largest fish caught wins a $20.00 SBEA gift certificate redeemable at the lake store.
