Kid’s Fishing Day
Fun For Kids
June 10, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Bring the kids to come out and enjoy the lake and the thrill of catching a fish. With the lack of rain this year, we are doing Kids Fishing Day a little different. We will be spreading out from the kids pond to several docks as well. The following will be closed off to regular fishing on June 12 from 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Docks 5-10, island road docks 1-4 and kids pond. We will reopen the docks to members after 12:00 p.m. when kids fishing is over. Prizes will be given away that day for the kids. Free hotdog, chips and pop will be provided for participating kids. Concessions will also be available. This is a chance to see what a great facility you have at SBEA. The SBEA lake is located at 4226 S. Gold. Members can save 10% off all kids fishing items after the fishing event. Meet in front of the lake store at 9:00 a.m. or come out anytime from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

4th of July Celebration
Lake Closed on the 4th of July!
While the SBEA will not be hosting a July 4th Celebration this year, we want to wish you and your family a Happy 4th of July! We hope you will have a day filled with laughter, love, and fireworks! A day of fun and cheerful celebration with your family and loved ones. The decision to not hold our annual 4th of July Celebration was a very tough choice the Board and Staff had to make. After many long discussions they concluded that so many towns, housing districts etc. organize celebrations that has affected the attendance at our event. Between attendance and cost of the event it was no longer cost effective of the dues our members pay. We are always looking for new ideas and discounts for our members and would love to hear from our members on any suggestions. We are looking into maybe a fall festival to do instead of the July 4th. Give us your feedback at steph@beatoday.com.
